HOW IT WORKS · WALKTHROUGH 6 OF 6
Signing on the phone
How a signer signs from a phone: a text message, three steps, done. No app, no account.
Sketch of the screen, not a capture. Screen labels appear exactly as the product shows them.
A text message with a personal link
Beto gets a text message on his phone, with the link that Sofi sent from Signing Flows. He does not install anything and does not create an account: the link is all he needs.
https://…/sign/…
The link is personal: it opens this document for Beto only.
Open and read
The link opens the document across the whole width of the phone, with its name on top. Beto reads it; his place to sign is marked. The bar with Next sits below the text and does not cover it.

Draw your signature
He types his name and draws his signature with a finger on the canvas. It is the visual representation that appears on the document; what gives it legal value is the electronic signature.

Agree and sign
He signs by consent: he agrees, and his name, the date and how he was identified go with the document. The box starts unticked: he decides. He can also choose to sign later.
You sign by agreeing below. Your name, the date and how you were identified go with the document.
Sign Sign later
Done
The screen confirms that he has signed and offers the signed document. If the document is part of a dossier, a line tells him which one is still to sign.

What stays
The signed PDF with its stamp, the completion report and the evidence record stay with the document, whichever way each person signed.
Ana signed with a certificate; Beto by consent. The report tells them apart.
