HOW IT WORKS · WALKTHROUGH 1 OF 6
A document with signers
The product in its simplest form: one PDF, two people who sign, and the proof that stays afterwards.
Sketch of the screen, not a capture. Screen labels appear exactly as the product shows them.
Upload the PDF
In Documents Ana chooses Upload document. The file enters as a draft and Prepare opens for it right away, so Ana does not have to look for it in the list. If she uploads several files at once, the list stays, scrolls to the first new one, highlights it and puts the keyboard focus on it. If the account asks for it, the PDF is rewritten to the PDF/A archive standard and the original is kept as evidence.
Place the signatures and add the people
In Prepare Ana marks where each person signs and adds Pepe and Sofi (pasting their emails, then Add all). She chooses One after another, so Pepe goes first.
Send for signature
Send
Ana chooses Send for signature. Each signer receives an email with a personal link: Pepe now, and Sofi when Pepe has signed.
https://…/sign/…
The link is personal: it opens this document for Pepe only.
Open the link and read
Pepe opens his link. The page says who sent the document and shows it. If the document asks for a higher identity level, the page first asks him to prove who he is.
Only when the document asks for it.
Agree and sign
He ticks the consent and presses Sign. The platform applies the signature and, as the circuit policy sets, a trusted timestamp. He can also choose to sign later.
Sign Sign later
Sofi signs, and the document is complete
It is Sofi's turn, with the same walkthrough. When she signs, the document is complete and Ana gets an email about it.
What stays
The signed PDF, the completion report and the evidence record stay with the document. Anyone can check the signed PDF without us, with Check a PDF or with any PDF signature validator.
